Shipping Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Paul Burmester Photography. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

1. Shipment Processing Time

All orders are processed within 3–7 business days, as our fine art prints and canvases are custom-printed on-demand to ensure the highest quality. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via e-mail.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout via the Shopify Buy-Button system. Delivery delays can occasionally occur depending on the destination country and local postal services.

• Germany: 2–7 business days after processing.
• European Union (EU): 5–10 business days after processing.
• International (Non-EU / Worldwide): 10–20 business days after processing (depending on customs clearance).

3. Customs, Duties, and Taxes (Important for International Orders)

Paul Burmester Photography is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

If you order from outside the European Union (e.g., United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland), your package may be subject to import duties and VAT levied by your country's customs authority once the shipment reaches your country.

4. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation e-mail once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s), if applicable for the chosen shipping method. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

5. Damages

Paul Burmester Photography is liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please save all packaging materials and damaged goods, and contact us immediately at contact@pburmester.com with digital photographs of the damage. We will arrange a replacement print or canvas as quickly as possible.
