Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods — or, if you ordered several goods in a single order which are delivered separately, from the day you acquire possession of the last good.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal conveniently via our online withdrawal form: pburmester.com/revoke.html. If you use this option, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of your withdrawal without delay by e-mail, confirming the content, date and time of your withdrawal.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You must send back the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
When the Right of Withdrawal Does Not Apply
Pursuant to § 312g (2) No. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB), the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual choice or decision by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.
Please note: according to prevailing German case law, choosing between predefined options that we offer in our shop — such as a standard size, material or one of our existing photo motifs — does not amount to such an individual specification, even though the item is only printed once you order it. Our Fine Art Prints, postcards and other standard shop items are therefore covered by the 14-day right of withdrawal described above, and are not excluded merely because they are produced to order.
This exclusion would only apply to items that are genuinely personalised at your request beyond the standard options offered in the shop (for example, a print made from a photo you supply yourself, or with a unique size or edit made specifically for you). If we offer such a genuinely personalised product in the future, we will clearly mark it as excluded from the right of withdrawal before you order it.
Statutory Warranty for Defects
Separately from the right of withdrawal above, you are always entitled to the statutory warranty rights for defective goods described in our Terms of Service. If your print arrives damaged in transit or is otherwise defective, please contact us at contact@pburmester.com with photos of the damaged packaging and product, and we will arrange a replacement or, where applicable, a refund — this does not affect your right of withdrawal or your statutory warranty rights.
